About

Accessibility statement for BrndTst

BrndTst should work for everyone, including people who use a screen reader, rely on a keyboard, zoom in or prefer plain language. This statement explains the standard we aim for, how we check the site, where we may fall short, and how to tell us about a problem.

What accessibility standard does BrndTst aim for?

BrndTst aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That covers things like text contrast, keyboard access, clear headings and content that still works when you zoom to 400%. We don't claim full compliance until testing confirms it, and we list known problems below.

We also write in short sentences and everyday words, and we explain financial terms the first time we use them.

How do we check the site?

Every page is built from the same templates, and automated checks run before a change goes live. They look for problems such as images without a text alternative, skipped heading levels and poor colour contrast. Tools can't catch everything, so if something doesn't work for you, please tell us.

What are the known problems?

If we find a problem we can't fix straight away, we list it here with what we're doing about it. Some things are outside our control: we link to very few other websites, but those we do link to, such as browser help pages, may not meet the same standard as ours.

How do I report an accessibility problem?

Email us with the page address, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser and any assistive technology you use. If you need information from the site in another format, ask and we'll provide it. We'll reply to say what we'll do about the problem and by when.
